Overview

This new medical school, opening in autumn 2020, is a collaboration between Canterbury Christchurch University and the University of Kent (Canterbury). It has a close relationship with the Brighton and Sussex Medical School which has licensed it to follow their curriculum. From the first year students are offered clinical placements one day a week across the county. Teaching in the first two years is at both CCU and U of K campuses. Canterbury is situated close to the south coast of England and the high-speed rail link to London St Pancras.
