Overview

This world class public university founded in 1825 specialises in Engineering and Natural Sciences. At the Carl Benz School it offers a BSc in Mechanical Engineering. In the city centre is the palace (Schloss) with its beautiful and extensive park. Karlsruhe is also home to Germany’s Supreme Court (Bundesverfassungsgericht) and a modern interactive media museum Mediathek. Karlsruhe in south-west Germany has a small international airport and is an hour from Strasbourg by train.
