Overview

Known as Hummed this private university founded in 2014 is dedicated to Medical Sciences. Its new campus 16 km south of Milan centre was opened in 2017. Courses offered in English include Nursing and Medicine which is taught using a multi-disciplinary integrated approach. A basic knowledge of Italian is expected in year 3. Milan perhaps Italy’s wealthiest city is in the northern area of Lombardy. For centuries it has been famed for its art and culture – from Leonardo’s ‘The last Supper’ to the opera ‘La Scala’ from the Gothic cathedral (Duomo) to its world renowned Fashion Houses and high-end shopping. Milan has excellent international transport links and is within reach of mountains and lakes.
