Helsinki Metropolia University of Applied Sciences

Overview

Founded in 2007 this is the largest university of applied science in Finland and has five campuses mainly within 20km of the capital Helsinki. It offers a number of Bachelor[CN1] degrees in English. At Espoo 19km west of Helsinki it has Information Technology; Business Informatics is at Vantaa 17km north of the capital. Helsinki is on a peninsula on the Gulf of Finland. It is home to the Parliament and national institutions and the ornate Uspenski Cathedral overlooks the harbour. The city boasts the most art nouveau buildings in Northern Europe. International air links are very good.
