Founded in 1907 this was Canada’s first business school. It is proud of its three international accreditations. The school offers a bachelor program in Business Administration focusing on multilingualism. It is bilingual French and English. A foundation year is offered to international students. HEC is situated on the western edge of Mont Royal. Montréal with its high concentration of students is regarded as one of the best student cities in the world. It is affordable, has a very good public transport system and is bicycle friendly. The city is situated on an island in the Saint Lawrence River and named after Mont Royal, the mountain at its heart. It is considered to be the cultural capital of Canada with its museums and galleries and music festivals, including the Festival International de Jazz, delicious food and good living. From historic Vieux Montréal with its winding streets to the Stade Olympique it boasts great architecture. Beautiful autumn colours herald cold winter months, but winter sports and cosy cafés take over. Transport links are excellent.
