Overview

This university dating back to 1798 has campuses in several cities but the majority of Bachelor degrees in English are taught at Groningen. The name Hanze references the northern medieval trade alliance the Hanseatic League. A wide range of courses is offered from Classical and Jazz Music Fine Art Game Design to Physiotherapy and Sport Studies and more. Groningen in the northern Netherlands is a small city with a young population – 50% under 35.
