Overview

This newly opened Maltese Medical School (2017) offers a five year medical degree and a preparatory foundation course. It is the first international campus of the medical school of Queen Mary University London (Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry) which is running the course and awarding the MBBS qualification. Malta consists of three islands which are situated in the Mediterranean 100km west of Italy. The small island of Gozo is a 25 minute ferry crossing from Malta and ferries run half-hourly. Students can enjoy a wide variety of outdoor activities beautiful golden beaches historic sites and a mild Mediterranean climate. Malta has an international airport and ferries to Sicily.
