Overview

Falmouth is situated on the beautiful south Cornish coast in the southwest of England and is regarded as one of the best places to live in Britain. From the small airport at Newquay (32km) there are direct flights to London Gatwick. The university is in Penryn, 8km west of the town centre. The School of Art and Design was established in 1902 and university status conferred in 2012. Since 2015 it has been consistently ranked top Creative Arts University in the Sunday Times University Guide. A wide range of creative courses from architecture to animation to computing to journalism is offered.
