The largest independent college in Ireland and established in 1975 Dublin Business School (DBS) has over 9000 students. It specialises in the provision of career focused business and law education as well as the delivery of programmes in the areas of arts media social sciences humanities and psychology. It runs the DBS advantage initiative which allows students to build up work related skills and undertake work placements alongside their academic studies. DBS is situated a short two-minute walk from St Stephens Green the Luas and all main bus routes putting it at the heart of Dublin city.
