Overview

Established in 1946 this university is situated in Krakow the second largest and formerly the royal capital city; the campus is about 1.5km north of the old town (Stare Miasto). It offers Bachelor degrees in English in Civil Engineering and Mechanics and Machine Design. The historic city is in the South of the country close to the Tatra and Beskidy mountains. It has a history both tragic and joyful; Kazmierz the old Jewish district reflects the tragedy of the 20th century while today its lively squares symbolise the 21st century renewal. It is the culture capital of Poland and has an international airport and good road and rail links.
