Founded in 1932 The Courtauld is the world’s leading centre for the study of the history and conservation of art. The gallery with its iconic collection which includes Impressionist and Post-Impressionist Art and the teaching area are situated in Someret House in central London. It offers a number of M.A. courses but only one B.A. in the History of Art. It is a self-governing college of London University and students may apply for accommodation in inter-collegiate Halls of Residence.
