Cork Institute of Technology (CIT) has four principal campuses: Bishopstown is the main campus set on 80 acres in the western suburbs of Cork city; CIT Crawford College of Art and Design and CIT Cork School of Music are also located in the city; the fourth campus the National Maritime College of Ireland sits on a 10 acre campus approximately 18km from Cork city.
