The Northern School of Art

Overview

The main campus which offers B.A. or FdA courses is in Hartlepool on the northeast coast of England. Founded originally as the Northern School of Art in 1874 it offers a number of Creative Art and Design degrees including Visual Effects Model Making and Contemporary Textiles which teaches designer and makeer skills. Hartlepool is close to the Durham Heritage Coast and has good rail links to Newcastle in the north. It is on the mainline to London, 3 hours. It has some limited accommodation and was ranked the best university in the North East for student satisfaction.
