Founded in 1995 this private not for profit university is situated in Carinthia (Kärnten), the southernmost province in Austria within easy reach of Slovenia and Italy. The four campuses are situated in Klagenfurt, Villach, Spittal and Feldkirchen. Klagenfurt with approximately 100,000 inhabitants is the largest town in the region. All four towns are close to lakes- the Wörthersee, Ossiachersee, Millstättersee. There are opportunities for swimming, sailing and hiking in the summer and skiing and ice skating in the winter. The small international airport in Klagenfurt is within easy reach of the town and local transport links are generally good. There is one bachelor course, Intercultural Management, in English offered by the School of Management. Master programmes in English are available in the School of Management and the School of Engineering including in Applied Data Science.
