Overview

Opened in 1964 this is a young, modern, public research university. Residence is guaranteed to all first year students (conditions apply). A broad range of undergraduate courses are offered, including in Oenology and Viticulture and Neuroscience. Situated in beautiful natural surroundings in a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve at the centre of the Canadian Niagara Peninsula, Brock is close to the Niagara Falls and Buffalo in the USA. St Catharines, situated in the southern tip of Ontario, has a microclimate which moderates the harsh winters. It is regarded as a garden city because of its lush parks, gardens and hiking and biking trails. It is one hour’s drive to Greater Toronto and 40 minutes to Buffalo. Toronto has an international airport.
