Bristol UWE is situated some 11km north of the city centre, to which there are good transport links. Bristol with its rich cultural heritage, vibrant music scene, green spaces and good transport links won the Sunday Times Award for the best city to live in Britain in 2014 and is situated in the southwest of England straddling the River Avon and on the Severn estuary, within easy reach of beautiful countryside. This modern university continues to invest in new facilities, including a stadium which will become home to Bristol Rovers F.C. and it offers a range of courses, many of which have applied or vocational content. The ceramics’ industry is excited by the innovative ceramic 3Dprinting material developed by university researchers.
