This public state funded institution achieved university status in 1999. It offers a number of two year Master’s courses in English. Karlskrona is situated on Sweden’s southernmost archipelago on the Baltic coast. A second campus is in Karlstad 55km to the West of Karlskrona which is Sweden’s sunniest and only baroque city and its main naval base. It is served by a small international airport 34km away and there are very good transport links to Copenhagen (247km to the West) and Stockholm (500km to the North).
