Overview

Founded in 1954 as a Farm Institute this FE college offers a small number of Foundation and Top Up degrees and some Honours programmes. Chosen as the equestrian training venue for the 2008 Olympic Games it has developed first class facilities for equine training from dressage to eventing. It offers a number of BSc degrees including in equine related areas including Business Management for the Equine Industry. Bishop Burton is situated close to Beverley in East Yorkshire and has a good bus service to towns across the county. It has links to Hull University, the University of Huddersfield and the Royal Agricultural College.
