Overview

Granted university status in 1992 the institution was renamed in 2007 and incorporates a number of specialist colleges including the School of Jewellery and the Music School which is the highest ranked Conservatoire outside London. The three campuses City Centre, City North (Perry Barr) and City South (Edgbaston) have good transport links within this great Midlands city and to the rest of the UK. A broad range of courses which develop practical skills are offered, for example in Computing, Health, Law and Creative subjects.
