Overview

Situated in the Flemish (Dutch) speaking area of Belgium Antwerp is Belgium’s second largest city and known as the capital of cool. It is home to the diamond trade and famous for its Flemish renaissance architecture and as the city of Rubens. Founded in 1995 and following the merger of several colleges in 2013 this institution was renamed. Most programmes are taught in Dutch but there are courses in English at both the Royal Conservatoire and the Royal Academy of Fine Arts. It is 47km north of Brussels and has very good transport links.
