Overview

Founded in 1993 this university offers applied career orientated courses. With seven faculties there is a broad range of Bachelor degrees in English including in Fashion and Textile Technologies Sports Studies and International Business. The campus is situated just 4km south of the historic centre of the great city of Amsterdam with its elaborate canal system and cycle tracks. It is a city of surprises – full of little lanes canals and pretty bridges and narrow gabled facades dating from the 17th century. Tourists are drawn by its treasure packed museums – Rembrandt Van Gogh – the Anne Frank House the red light district and the coffee houses and much more. Amsterdam has excellent transport links and an international airport Schipol with flights all over the world.
