Overview

With its roots in the West Ham Technical Institute founded in 1892 university status was granted in 1992 and UEL now boasts a waterfront campus and student village in Docklands East London which is served by the Docklands light railway. There is on campus accommodation for 1,200 students and a world-class indoor sports’ centre. A free shuttle bus links this site to the Stratford campus. It offers a range of courses, mainly applied and creative, including Architecture, Computing and Engineering.
