Founded in 1977 this university is situated in a small trading city with a long history of textile production. It offers Bachelor courses in English in Fashion Design and Textile Design. The town is known for its street art – fantastic murals painted onto the sides of municipal buildings. It is also home to a number of museums including a Textile Museum and an outdoor museum. Situated just 45 minutes east of Gothenburg (on the west coast) in one of the most heavily populated regions of Sweden Boras has very good road and rail transport links. Gothenburg’s international airport is within easy reach.
