Overview

Established in 1969, but with its roots in ULB , founded 1834, this public university offers bachelor programmes in Social Sciences and Business Economics which are taught in English. It has campuses in the capital of Belgium and the administrative centre of the European Union. This lively city is famous not only for the fountain of the Mannekin Pis, its chocolate, waffles and beer, but for its beautiful art nouveau houses designed by Horta. The Musée Horta, the Palais des Beaux Arts and the Comic Strip museum (la Bande Dessinée) are just a few of the city’s cultural sites and of course a visit to a chocolate factory and eating waffles in the magnificent Grand Place should not be missed.
