Established in 1975 this is Slovenia’s second largest university. It offers a very few programmes taught in English including Computer Science and IT. Maribor is a small city in the hills of the wine region on the Drava River and not far from the ski resort, Mariborsko Pohorje. Maribor has a 15th century castle and town hall. It lies some 72.5 kilometres to the South of Graz in Austria, about one and a half hours away by public transport.
