Overview

Founded in 1977 this university offers three Bachelor programmes in Computer Science in English. Fee paying students are given assistance in finding accommodation. The campus is on the northern edge of the town about 2.5km from the centre. Kristianstad known as the most Danish town in southern Sweden was named after the Danish king who founded it in 1614. It is a handsome town with elegant squares a fine cathedral and a rectangular street network. Situated in Skåne in an area of natural beauty it has a biosphere reserve – the Kingdom of Water. It is a major transport hub with high speed trains linking the city to Malmö (96km) and Copenhagen (142km) to the West and Stockholm to the Northeast. It has a small airport and is in easy reach of major international airports.
