This is the 4 year course which includes a Professional Placement Year.

Theatre Production at Bath Spa University offers an exciting and vibrant professional theatre training course, delivered in partnership with the theatre production industry. You’ll cover a range of backstage disciplines and be taught them to the highest standard in Theatre, Film and TV Digital Production and Festivals and Events, such as lighting, sound, costume, and many more.

Be taught by lecturers who are highly experienced and current industry practitioners.
Work on productions in a variety of roles and build your skills in two areas of your choice.
Delivered in partnership with Theatre Royal Bath and the National Theatre.
At the end of the course become a member of OnSet Productions, a professional media company.

More about the Professional Placement Year
A Professional Placement Year (PPY), traditionally known as a sandwich year, is where a student undertakes a period of work with an external organisation for between 9-13 months. The placement occurs between the students' second and third years of undergraduate study. Students can engage in up to 3 placements to make up the total time and are required to source the placement(s) themselves with support from the Careers & Employability Team.
