By the end of the course you will be able to demonstrate underpinning knowledge, understanding and skills for success in employment in the health and social care sector at supervisory or management levels provide specialist studies relevant to individual health and social care vocations and professions in which you are employed or seek to gain employment contribute to the health and social care sector through effective use and combination of the knowledge and skills gained on the course progress to further professional development of higher-level skills, either for future study or career advancement. • The course will involve a range of teaching methods, including seminars, case study analyses, independent learning, debates, role play, group discussions and tutorials. • Regular lessons will be enriched further by workshops by visiting lecturers and trips to partner organisations with expertise in specialist subjects. • You will undertake a minimum of 375 hour work placement to consolidate application of theory to practice and expose you to real life experiences. • Lessons will involve both individual and group work.
