Overview

This 14-month programme is aimed at students who wish to have an immersive and highly practical filmmaking experience. They will develop an understanding of the production and technical processes relevant to the feature film, TV and online content industries preparing them for work in the creative industries.

Working collaboratively as a creative crew, students will create projects, including short form, factual and episodic content. They will also develop the professional and personal skills to succeed in their careers, such as public profile improvements, networking, showreel development.

The Practical Filmmaking Diploma is a highly practical course taught by working industry professionals who teach students ways of conceptualising and evaluating their work through the creation of filmed projects.
