Law with Business Management (with Professional Placement)

University Campus Suffolk (UCS)

UCAS Course code M1N2

Overview

This course combines two of the most versatile and transferable subjects, giving you a broad range of knowledge and skills which will position you among the most employable and adaptable graduates. This programme also offers a professional placement.

Our unique approach helps you to develop a firm grounding in the contexts in which legal institutions function, as well as the subject of law itself, while complementing this with an additional focus on business management.

We draw on a range of perspectives in our teaching, combining the finest traditions of legal education with recent innovations and current theory, coupled with an approach to business that is characterised by enterprise and entrepreneurship.

One aspect of the subject that students find most valuable is the breadth and depth of education that studying law and business management involves.

If you choose to pursue a career in legal practice, you will be exempt from the academic stage of legal training as determined by the Bar Standards Board and the Solicitor’s Regulation Authority, and can gain CILEX exemptions.

If you choose to pursue your interests in business, this aspect of the combined programme will give you sufficient grounding to turn your hand to most areas of business. Whichever path you ultimately choose, this course is a smart choice.
