The foundation year is the first year of this degree, offering an excellent grounding in the fundamentals of construction and project management alongside study skills development. It is designed to prepare you for degree level study.
As you progress, you’ll have the chance to carry out interdisciplinary work with students on related courses, including a group project that simulates what happens from a construction project’s inception to completion.
Meanwhile, you’ll be able to use land-surveying and other specialist equipment, and make use of the University’s design studio facilities. We offer the latest CAD software and hardware, and excellent materials-testing facilities.
